  • Sign on the left, on the Vendor “Sign:” line.
  • Date, place and your name are already printed.
  • The right-hand column is for Dugong. Leave it blank.

Check the details

Open the PDF and read through your details:

  • Firm name
  • PAN
  • GSTIN
  • Address
  • Signatory’s name
  • Products and brands

Never edit the PDF. Add only your signature. The agreement is sealed with security checks, so any change to its text gets it refused.

Wrong detail? Fix it in the application form, then download the agreement again. Once you change any detail, the old agreement is no longer accepted, whether as a PDF or a photo.

Sign it

How will you sign?

Sign the PDF itself, and upload the PDF

The website checks a PDF completely the moment you upload it: that it is your agreement and that no word was changed. A photo shows only one page, so our team has to check it by hand.

No digital signature? Use Adobe Acrobat ReaderFree, on any phone or computer
  1. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and tap Fill & Sign, then Add signature.
  2. Draw your signature, or use a photo of it.
  3. Place it on the Vendor “Sign:” line, then save.

Don’t use “Print to PDF” or any option that turns the pages into pictures.

Aadhaar eSignVerified instantly. Needs your Aadhaar-linked mobile.
  1. Upload the PDF to an Aadhaar eSign service.
  2. Place the signature on the Vendor “Sign:” line.
  3. Confirm with the OTP and download the signed PDF.

Upload that file as it is. Opening and re-saving it breaks the signature.

DSC tokenVerified instantly. Needs your digital signature token.
  1. Plug in the token and open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  2. Choose Use a certificate (or “Digitally sign”) and draw a box on the Vendor “Sign:” line.
  3. Enter your PIN and save under a new name.

Upload that file as it is. Opening and re-saving it breaks the signature.

Print, sign, stamp, and photograph

  1. Print the agreement. Sign the Vendor “Sign:” line in pen and add your company stamp beside it.
  2. Photograph the signed page, flat and in good light, with the whole page in the photo, including the small QR code at the bottom right. The website reads that code to confirm the photo is of your agreement.
  3. Upload the photo as JPG or PNG. Not as a scanned PDF: a scanned PDF is refused.
  • AcceptedWhole page, QR code included
  • RefusedQR code cut off
  • RefusedOnly the signature or stamp

Signed more than one page? Upload the photo of the page with the Vendor “Sign:” line. The slot takes one file.

Upload it and read the message

Back in the form, under Upload Signed Copy of Vendor Agreement, choose your signed file. The website checks it in a few seconds and shows one of these messages.

Questions

Tap a question to open it.

Why is the upload box locked?

It unlocks once you download your agreement from the form, so the copy you sign is always the one Dugong issued for your details. Downloaded it earlier on this device? Enter the same details again, including Aadhaar, and it unlocks. Otherwise, download it again.

My upload was not accepted. What now?

Look under the upload box. It shows which check your file failed and the steps to fix it, and it stays there if you leave the page and come back. The most common reasons:

  • A scanned PDF. Scans are pictures, so the agreement can’t be read. Sign the PDF on screen, or upload a JPG/PNG photo of the signed page instead.
  • The unsigned download. Upload the copy you saved after signing, not the original file.
  • Details changed after downloading. Download the agreement again and sign the new copy.
  • Word, HEIC or other files. Only PDF, JPG and PNG are accepted.
Who should sign?

The authorized signatory: the person whose name and Aadhaar number you entered in the form. Their name is printed under the signature line.

Do I write the date and place?

No. Both are printed for you.

Do I need ₹100 stamp paper?

The agreement says it is “to be executed on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/-”. If you sign on paper and aren’t sure how to use the stamp paper, ask your Dugong representative before you sign, so you only do it once.

Can I upload several photos, one per page?

No, the slot takes one file. Photograph the page you signed. With a PDF, upload the whole signed PDF.

What are the QR codes on the pages?

Every page has a small QR code at the bottom right, and the last page has a larger one in the verification seal. Scanning one opens a Dugong page confirming that Dugong issued the agreement. It never shows your documents or Aadhaar number.

What happens after I submit?

Our team reviews your application. If anything needs fixing, you’ll get an email and can re-upload just that document. You can check your status any time on the application status page.

Your application form is still open in the other tab. Switch back to it when your agreement is signed.
